The writing was on the wall when Sylvester Stallone’s wife of 25 years, Jennifer Flavin, ended their marriage. Closer Weekly reported on Aug. 19 that the former model quietly filed for divorce in Florida. A judge was asked to stop those assets from being hidden by the “Rocky” actor. Jennifer has also made it clear that she wants sole control of the house in Palm Beach, Florida, that they have together. Despite the fact that Sly had tattooed a picture of Jennifer’s face on his shoulder before the news of their split broke out, the photo shows him covering up the picture he had tattooed of Jennifer’s face on his shoulder. There was a report released on Aug. 24 alleging that Sly and Jennifer’s marriage hit the skids after they fought over a dog (he wanted a new one, she did not, and he got one anyway), which led to them bringing up other issues that made them irked. A dog is not the reason for their split, according to Sly. TMZ quoted him as saying, “We didn’t end the relationship over such a trivial argument. We just went in different directions,” he said, adding that he has the greatest respect for Jennifer. He said, “I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met.”.
